Prepare your taste buds for a culinary escape for the annual Concord Taco Trail Challenge returning this month. This is your chance to explore all the delectable goodness of 40-plus taquerias and restaurants along the celebrated Concord Taco Trail while supporting some very hard-working family and locally owned businesses.
Each Taco Trail stop offers authentic specialty and signature tacos from al pastor, birria and carne asada to grilled tilapia, shrimp, vegitariano … so many delicious choices.
The Taco Trail Challenge is a part of Concord’s Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration (September 15 – October 15). Those who visit the most individual restaurants along the trail have the chance to win the coveted Taco Trail Champion Trophy. To participate, start by following Visit Concord on Instagram or Facebook at VisitConcordCA. Then post a picture of your visit to a participating restaurant using the hashtag #ConcordTacoTrail and the name of the location. Pictures can capture the food or ambiance of the restaurant. Each post will count as another entry.
Concord’s vibrant taquerias and restaurants participating in the Taco Trail will also be vying for their own recognition: the esteemed “Fan Favorite” Trophy. You can cast your vote for your preferred eatery online.
